On Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 at 1pm, two artifacts from the World Trade Center will be dedicated by Oscar Goodman, Mayor of Las Vegas at the Atomic Testing Museum. Invited guests include: Senator Harry Reid, Senator John Ensign, Rep. Berkley, Rep. Titus, Lt. Governor Brian Krolicki, Chief Greg Gammon of the Las Vegas Fire Department, Chiefs or representatives from area Fire Departments, Sheriff Doug Gillespie and representatives for southern Nevada Law Enforcement, Colonel Howard D. Belote, Commander of Nellis AFB, and representatives from the National Nuclear Security Administration and National Security Technologies, the prime contractor for the Nevada Test Site. THE NTS Honor Guard will present the colors. There will be a bagpiper and the Honor Guard will perform the Bell Ringing ceremony. ...
